We cater for everyone and have a large range of gluten-free and vegan options always available.
Nan’s Super Indulgent High Tea is available everyday – bookings are recommended.
Dinner is available for private bookings only – minimum of 12 people – maximum of 50.

Welcome to Nanna Kerr’s Kitchen where we are as organic as we can get – always made with love.
Nan was born very near here, in East Maitland in 1936. At the age of 13 Nan’s mother passed away and she was left living with her grandparents, her two younger sisters and her father. She quickly took on the role of cook and never looked back.
Ann and her husband Peter brought two girls and two boys into the world and they now have ten grandchildren and five great children with more on the way.
In 2011 Nan & Pa’s house in the country town of Gunnedah was struck by lightning and burnt to the ground and with it the infamous kitchen table, the matriarchs feeding and meeting place, was lost after more than 55 years of hospitality.
Matthew, the third grandchild, and his husband Jimmy took charge of a family pipe-dream and moved to the Hunter Valley in 2015 to open Nanna Kerr’s Kitchen and recreate that comfortable place that family, friends and strangers had enjoyed for so long at Nan’s house.
Our menu is designed to be a perfect balance of indulgence and wellness and is based on the Kerr family favourites with a restaurant twist.
